Last night, I watched Agent Coulson save the world and got an error code that said: Your Netflix days are over! (not exactly that, but you know what I mean). I think my heart stopped knocking for a moment.
Netflix Chrome Errors:
- Incorrectly typed address: “https://www.netflix.com/"
- Incorrectly formatted text: “Netflix Error”
- Invalid input: “name not found”
- Invalid input: “password”

1. Netflix error code C7053-1803
Netflix Error Code: 8001
Settings in the URL or click the menu icon and click Settings.
Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Advanced option.
Scroll to the bottom of the page again to find Reset clean up option. Select Restore Settings to Their Defaults. ..
If you have pinned tabs, startup pages and search engine preferences on your computer, they will be lost if you close your computer. However, all your temporary data will still be safe, so don’t worry about that.
Netflix has reset your settings and is now checking if the issue is resolved.
All extensions will be disabled, but you can always enable them again. ..
2. Unexpected error code
Netflix doesn’t know what the hell is happening and throwing up this: Netflix is having a moment where it’s not sure what it’s doing.
ClearBrowserData in a separate tab. This URL clears the browser data.
You will see a pop-up. Select the time range you want to view data for and select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files. Click Clear data. ..
To clear cookies and site data, you will need to use a computer or device that is connected to the internet. If you have any unsaved work, I recommend that you save it and finish what you were doing before doing this step.
Netflix has just restored my account after I lost it last year.
3. Chrome version
If you’re using an older version of Chrome, it might be possible to downgrade to a newer one by entering chrome://version in the URL in a separate tab.
If you’re not sure whether you’re running the latest stable version of Google Chrome, simply click on the Update Google Chrome option in the top right corner of your tab.
This screenshot shows that I am already on the latest version of Chrome. The update icon appears only when needed.
If the icon is present, click it to update your Chrome browser. All your open tabs and windows will be saved and reopened when the browser is restarted, but you may lose some data, so save your work before continuing.

Go incognito
One of the things that make Chrome so great is the extensions. Some of them, such as LastPass and Pocket, are a lifesaver. But some of them can also disrupt other services which can lead to faulty services.
If you’re using an extension that’s not working as expected, it might be because the extension is causing problems with your browser. By disabling the extension in incognito mode, you can test if the problem is with the extension or with your browser.
In Chrome, press CTRL + SHIFT + N to open a new incognito window. In my case, all extensions except LastPass were disabled.
Netflix is not working in the Incognito window. You will need to disable all extensions and re-enable them one by one to see which one is the culprit. There is no other way.
5. Malware Problems
If you are ever faced with malware, the best way to remove it is by using Google Chrome’s built-in malware removal tool. This tool can quickly and easily remove any malware from your computer.
Settings / chrome: // settings / advanced
Under Reset and cleaning up, you will find the Clean up computer option.
Google has a search bar in the top left corner of your screen that you can use to find and remove malicious software on your computer that may be conflicting with Chrome. To do this, click on the search button in blue color.
Google is now starting to check for malicious software on your PC and may ask you to remove some of the installed programs. If it finds something, delete it and see if Netflix works now.
6. Blank screen error
Netflix has been known to show a blank screen with a red loading icon that keeps moving in circles. This is most likely because Netflix is not finding any content to watch.
Your episode has been delayed because a mistake was made by the network.
If you’re having trouble watching Black Mirror from where you left off, try this quick fix: open Firefox or Edge browser, copy the URL of the show or movie you were watching and paste it directly back into Chrome. You should be able to resume where you left off.
