Guide: How to Clear History on Amazon Prime Music

I like to listen to specific songs over and over again until I’m bored. It’s a habit I picked up when I was a kid and it’s something that I love. Most of you probably know this too, but the ‘Recently Played’ section of Prime Music, my favorite music streaming app, doesn’t make it any easier.

I open the app to see the first thumbnail and I’m disappointed because my favorite songs are now slowly being exhausted. ..

How can we do it?

To clear Prime Music song history:

  1. Open the “Settings” app on your phone and click on the “History” tab.
  2. Scroll down and click on the “Remove from history” button.
  3. Click on the “Done” button to confirm your deletion.

Step 2: Click on the “Create a new account” button Step 3: Enter your name and email address Step 4: Click on the “Create a new account” button again Step 5: Enter your password Step 6: Click on the “Create a new account” button again Step 7: Enter your phone number and type in your email address Step 8: Click on the “Create a new account” button again

Step 3: In the Recent tab, you will see a list of games that have been played recently. Click on a game to view its details.

The timestamp will be visible when you open the file. ..

To delete a track from your music history:

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Music app.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top left corner of the screen and select History.
  3. Select the track you want to delete and tap Delete Number from History. ..

This is the end.

I know, I know, the process can be a bit boring. But for now, that’s the only way to selectively remove recently played songs from the list.

Your phone app still doesn’t reflect the changes you made in step 3. To make these changes take effect, you have to register again.

To sign out of your account, tap the gear-shaped icon in your app and tap Sign Out. ..

If you want to delete the entire album, scroll to the top of the page where all albums are listed and click View All.

Delete Track from History

Deleting entire albums is a better option than selecting and deleting individual songs. This is because the Recently Played section will be filled up again when you listen to new songs, which will prevent the unwanted songs from flooding your queue. And using a shared account prevents the other person from knowing (and rating) your music taste.

1. Delete the followed playlist

If you have grown tired of the curated playlists, they can be easily deleted. To do this, go to the left menu of the web version and click Followed Playlist. Click the cross next to it and then click Delete. ..

Create a playlist on your web version of your music player that includes all of your favorite songs. This will be much more flexible and convenient than trying to keep track of all the songs you have on your phone or computer.

2. View the mood-boosting playlists

Prime Music offers a wide range of playlists to suit different moods, including some specifically designed for meditation and exercise. Whether you’re looking for calming music to help you relax or motivating tunes to get you moving, Prime Music has you covered. ..

If you want to play a specific album from your playlist, you can go to the Playlist section on your mobile app and select that album.

3. Change the streaming quality

Best quality: The best quality plan offers the highest quality music, with no commercials or buffering. You can also choose to have the music streamed continuously, or have it play for a set amount of time before stopping. Balanced quality: The balanced quality plan has a middle ground between the best and worst quality plans, offering good sound but some buffering and commercials. Speed: The speed plan is the slowest, with the lowest quality music and no commercials. It also offers the option to have the music streamed continuously or to have it play for a set amount of time before stopping.

The default streaming quality is Auto. However, you can always change it. To do that, go to Settings and scroll down until you see Streaming Quality and select the first option.

If you want the highest quality numbers, the latter option is your best bet. Just keep in mind that you won’t get the buffered numbers with this option. ..

4. Download songs without internet days

I’m not a big fan of online streaming services because unless I have a few offline songs with me, it can be an ordeal when I’m on the go.

Offline downloads are an option on the Prime Music app. Just tap the three-dot menu again and click Download button. ..

If you don’t see the download option, first add the song to My Music (three-dot menu), then go to the Music tab. Find the song and tap Download button

Did you know that Prime Music will unauthorize paired devices after 90 days of inactivity? This is a new policy that the company has put in place to ensure that customers are using their devices responsibly. If you have not used your device for 90 days, Prime Music will automatically disable it and you will need to contact them to get it reactivated.

5. Bored? Refresh your music selection

If you’re a Prime member, you can use the Refresh option to keep your music options up-to-date. This option is under the Settings menu. ..

Listen to songs in all their glory

The Echo Dot is a great way to have an Echo device without having to pay for a full-fledged Echo speaker. It has a much smaller footprint and is easier to use than the full-sized Echo speakers, so it’s perfect for small homes or apartments.

Did you know that you can connect multiple Echo devices and control and sync music between Echo devices? If so, be sure to know how to use this feature with your smart assistant. By connecting multiple Echo devices, you can create a stereo system that is perfect for listening to your favorite music. Additionally, by controlling and syncing music between Echo devices, you can make sure that all of your music is always in sync.
