Guide: How to Create YouTube Banners in Photoshop

One of the most important things you can do to make your YouTube channel more popular is to make it look nicer. If your channel page is blank or doesn’t reflect the overall aesthetic of your channel, change that right away.

Creating a YouTube Banner in Photoshop The first step in creating a great YouTube banner is to decide on the style you want. There are many different styles to choose from, but we’ll focus on one that’s popular and easy to use: the modern look. To create this style, start by choosing the “Background” tab and select a light blue or white background. You can also use a gradient if you want, but we recommend using a light blue for simplicity. Next, select the “Text” tab and enter some text that will help set your banner apart from other channels. We recommend using keywords or phrases that are associated with your channel or product. For example, if you have a channel about fashion, you might choose to include clothing brands or designers in your text. Finally, select the “Border” tab and add some borders around your text to give it an extra edge. We recommend using a thin line or dashed line for added impact. Now that you have all of your basic settings set, it’s time to start creating your banner! To create the main body of your banner, click on the “Create Banner” button at the top of the screen and then enter some basic information such as your name and website address. You can also include any images that you want in this part of your banner (we recommend including an image of yourself). Once you have finished entering all of your information, click on the “Create Banner” button again and wait for Photoshop to create your banner!

That’s why I’ve created a simple template that you can use to create your channel without worrying about alignment. Download the template (shown above) from the link below and open it in Photoshop to follow my lead. ..

Since the background looks a bit dull, I will add a gradient to the background with the gradient tool.

Step 4: Click the gradient tool and then drag the foreground and background colors to the desired location on your image.

Step 4: Now left click on one edge of the canvas, hold the click and drag your mouse all the way to the other edge and release. That adds a gradient in the colors of your choice, from one point to another.
