How to Downgrade Your Windows 11 PC Back to Windows 10 – Guide

Windows 11 beta is a software development kit that allows users to test the new Windows 11 operating system. It was only available a few days ago, after the launch event. Many people have downloaded it, but it’s not clear if they will be using it. Microsoft has not released an official release for Windows 11 yet, and there is no guarantee that it will be released soon.

Windows Insiders can join the “Dev” channel of the Windows Insider Program to download the latest build of Windows 10. However, since this is an early build, bugs and other issues are still likely.

If you’re not satisfied with your previous Windows 10 experience, there are ways to revert your device to Windows 10. It’s much easier if you do this right after installing the beta, but it’s still possible after that.

How to downgrade from Windows 11 to Windows 10:

In Windows 11, go to System > Recovery. Under Recovery Options, click Back. In the Backdrop, select your current device and press OK. Your computer will start up in recovery mode and you can use the following commands to continue:

  1. Type “recovery” into the command prompt and hit enter.
  2. Type “cmd” into the command prompt and hit enter.
  3. Type “pwrlogon” into the command prompt and hit enter.

If you’re coming back to Windows 10 because you upgraded to the latest version, select the upgrade reason and click Next. If you’re coming back to Windows 10 because your computer was crashed or lost its power, select the computer crash or power loss reason and click Next.

If you don’t see an update available for your device, click “No Thanks.” ..

In What You Need to Know, you should read this information completely. When you’re done, click Next.
