Installing and opening Animotica
This is a simple and straightforward guide that will help you download and use the software.
If you’re new to the software, or just want a quick overview, start by clicking on the ‘Start a Project’ button. This will take you to a page that looks like this: You have two ways here: start a project from scratch or select ‘Slideshow’ features. This basically guide you through the process.
Select slideshow features
When you click Slideshow on the first screen, you are taken to a new window where you can add your images.
Select photos for your video presentation
To add a photo to your story, follow these steps:
- Click Add Photo. This will take you to your storage area.
- Browse to where you stored your images. It’s better to have all these images in the same folder.
- Select all the necessary photos and click next. ..
Rearrange the order of your images
Next, you will be asked to choose a destination for the images. You can drag and drop them to any location you like, but we recommend choosing a location that is easy to see and easy to navigate. Once you have chosen your destination, click Next.

You can add music to your video by selecting some fun audio melodies from Animotica’s library, or you can choose the desired music from your PC storage. Just click on Music.

After clicking Choose File, you will be taken to your local storage area. There, you can navigate to the folder where you stored your music file and select it. If you don’t have a song you want on your PC, you can download one for free from one of these sites. After clicking Next, you will be prompted to create a new playlist. ..
Add transition effects to your video slideshow
- Choose a transition effect that will create a smooth, seamless transition between your photos.
- Be sure to choose an effect that will look good on all types of videos, including professional and personal videos.
- Experiment with different transitions until you find the one that works best for your video slideshow.
Select video aspect ratio and duration
In this step, you can select the aspect ratio of your final slide show. This is the ratio of the sides of your video. In simple terms, it is how many pixels wide each pixel is. To find out the aspect ratio of a video, divide its width by its height. For example, if a video has an aspect ratio of 1:1, then each pixel will be 1 inch wide and 1 inch high.
Some images may be cropped if the original aspect ratio is different from what you set for your slideshow. To adjust the aspect ratio of your images efficiently, check out this blog.
To create a video slideshow, select the Duration of your slideshow in the left-hand pane and then choose the Duration of your photo slide in the right-hand pane.
Save your work!
When you save your project, Animotica takes you to the Export window where you see video resolution and bitrate options. You can leave everything as is and click Save As. You can learn more about saving your project here.
When you click on Save As, you will be taken to a window where you can define the desired file name. When you’re done, click Save, relax, and watch Animotica continue from there. After rendering your project, your video is ready to use! If you have a YouTube channel, you can upload it directly from the app.
