How to Mirror Video on VLC – Guide

How to Mirroring videos in VLC Player If you want to mirror a video in VLC, you first need to create a file called “mirror.vob” and save it on your computer. Then, open up VLC and click on the “File” menu and select “Open with…” then select “VOB”. Now, you’ll need to set up some basic settings for your mirror. In the “Video” tab, you’ll need to set the following: Width: This is the size of your mirror image.
Height: This is the size of your original video.
Output Format: This is how VLC will display your mirror image. If you choose “MP4”, then you’ll need to specify a quality level as well (see below). Now that you’ve set up your basic settings, it’s time to start playing your mirror image! To do this, just click on the play button in the top left corner of VLC and wait for it to start playing back your original video. You can also use the arrow keys or WASD keys to move around in your mirror image while it’s playing back.

turn and rotate the video

Next, open the Preferences window for VLC. In the General tab, set the video quality to “High” and set the frame rate to “25.” If you want to save this setting as a custom preference, click on the Save As button in the bottom right corner of the Preferences window. Now open a new video file in another program and play it back on VLC. You’ll see that it has been rotated by 90 degrees!

To add a mirror inversion effect to the playback, click Transform. Then click on the drop-down menu and select Flip Vertically. This will then invert the video as if it were reflected in a mirror, as shown below. So if the subject of the video is facing to your right, it will still be facing to the right when you turn it, it will just be upside down. You can also check the Rotate box on the Geometry tab to manually flip the video. After that, drag the small circle on the compass about 180 degrees. It is more flexible as it allows you to configure the reading angle a little more.

Adding a mirror reflection effect

To add mirror reflection effect to a video, select the Mirror checkbox on the Advanced tab of the Video Effects window.

To mirror video playback in VLC, first flip the video output so that it is facing the front of your computer. Then rotate it so that it is facing the back of your computer. Finally, select Mirror from the video output’s options.
