How to Print Directions from Apple Maps on Mac – Guide
To print from your iPhone, you will need an AirPrint-compatible printer. Most new models from major manufacturers include AirPrint, so you can print without any trouble. However, if you haven’t already connected your printer to the Wi-Fi network, follow these instructions to do so:

Start browsing the web at your current location by entering an address and selecting directions button.
Jump on the left side of the Go button to access your favorite route.
To share a route with a friend, scroll to the final from the route list and tap Share. ..

If you want to save offline routes as a backup but don’t have a printer nearby, an easy hack is to simply take screenshots of the directions list. Then you can access the instructions by opening the Photos app and viewing the screenshot. While not ideal, it’s sometimes preferable to looking for a printer while you’re traveling!
