How to skip Microsoft Account setup in your Windows 11 Home OOBE – Guide

Windows 11 Home Out-of-Box Experience allows you to bypass Microsoft account settings, which has been attempted on two WiFi computers and a VM with an Ethernet connection.

See how it’s done:

If you’re using an OOBE, make sure you have an Internet connection and that your computer is connected to the same network. Then go through the first screens for language options and other things.

When you sign in to your Microsoft account, press Shift-F10 to open a command prompt. ..

If you are using a wired connection, use this command: netsh wlan stop ..

Type exit and press .

Please enter your name and email address.

netsh interface show interface

Ethernet. “Ethernet.”

To disable the Ethernet interface on your computer, use the following command: netsh interface set interface name = “Ethernet” admin = DISABLED ..

You should hit back.

If you’re having trouble logging into Windows, there are a few things you can do to try and fix the problem. If you’re using a local area network (LAN), you can try to re-enable reconnection by going to Settings & Network and using the Troubleshooting options. If that doesn’t work, you can try to enable the device in Device Manager. For wireless networks, just use the normal wireless icon next to the clock. ..
