How to Turn-Off Your PC using Google Assistant – Guide

Control your PC with Google Assistant

  1. First, open Push2Run on your mobile device.
  2. Type “cmd” into the search bar and hit enter.
  3. The app will start searching for tasks to be executed.
  4. Once the task list has been displayed, select the “cmd” task and press OK.
  5. The app will start executing the task and you will see a message in the notification area telling you that it is successful.
  6. If you want to stop the task, just press Ctrl+C or right-click on the task and select “Stop” from the context menu.

To set up Pushbullet and IFTTT, first install the Pushbullet and IFTTT apps on your Android device. After that, log in with your Google account in both apps and grant the necessary permissions. Make sure you’re using the same Google account across all apps and platforms.

Open the Push2Run app on your PC and do the initial setup. In the first dialog box, select “Pushbullet” from the left menu and check the “Enable Push bullet” box. After that, paste the copied token (from step 4) into the Push bullet API box. Then copy whatever is inside the “Title Filter” box and click the “Ok” button.

To connect to your PC, follow these voice commands:

  1. Say “PC” or “Computer” to start the computer.
  2. Say “Connect” or “Computer Connect” to connect to your PC.
  3. Say “Task” or “Task Connect” to ask the computer to do a task.
  4. Say “Create Trigger” or “Create Tasktrigger” to create a task trigger.

Now on the next page, click on “then that” part of the sentence. Here, search for “Pushbullet” and open it. After that, click on “Push a Note”.

You are almost done. You can try saying “OK Google, tell my computer to open the calculator”. The calculator app should open up on your PC without any problem. Also, if everything is set up correctly, you should see “Pushbullet connection is good” in the bottom bar of the Push2Run app.
