Guide: How to Turn On/Off Hover Cards in Chrome Browser

That’s why we’ve created a new feature in Chrome that lets you easily distinguish between tabs. When you open a new tab, Chrome will show the first tab as the active tab. If you close a tab, Chrome will close the active tab and show the next one as the active tab.

Chrome has introduced Tab Hover Cards, which make the text in the pop-up window for a tab much larger and easier to read. ..

Chrome’s experimental flag for tabbed browsing features a hidden feature that makes it easier to identify tabs. Unfortunately, the feature is not enabled by default and remains hidden within the experimental Chrome flags. If you want to enable this feature, you can do so by setting the Experimental flag to true in your Chrome settings.

To test this out, hover your pointer over any tab and you will see a much larger map pop-up with all the information about that tab. ..

Google has introduced a new setting that previews opened websites in a small image. You can enable it from the same flags page by clicking the drop-down menu next to the Tab Hover Card Image option.

If you enable Chrome, then when you move the mouse pointer over a tab, a small preview image of that tab will be displayed. If you disable Chrome, then when you move the mouse pointer over a tab, it will not display any previews.

It’s worth noting both features are experimental and may not work as intended on all websites. As you can see in the attached image, in my case, the Tab Hover Card Image option only displays an enlarged thumbnail of the website logo when hovering over it.
