How to Verify and Remove Connected Devices from Your Netflix Account – Guide

You can have six separate devices registered to your Netflix account to watch your favorite movies and TV series through the streaming option. Netflix keeps track of all the devices you’ve registered to your account, and you can view the list whenever you log in. Through the Membership Plan portion of your account page, you can check which devices are connected or remove and replace them with a newer device.

Managing Active Download Devices on Netflix

Netflix has several limits on how much you can download at a time. For example, you can only download up to 100 titles per account.

There is a limit of one, two, or four devices per account for devices that are allowed to download content from Netflix. If you want to remove a device, you can do so in your Netflix account settings on the Netflix website.

Netflix account settings: In the Settings section, under Manage Download Devices, you’ll see a list of devices that are enabled to download content offline. If you have an enabled device on your account, you can select it to be added to this list. If you don’t have an enabled device, or if you want to disable offline viewing for a specific device, please check the box next to that device and then press the Account link to access your account settings page.

To remove one of the linked devices, press Remove device button in one of the device lists. This will remove offline access to Netflix from the device and delete any previously saved Netflix content. It will also be free.

Final note

Netflix has a strict policy against connecting devices to their account without proper verification. To avoid any potential issues, it’s important to follow these steps to verify and remove connected devices from your account:

  1. Log in to Netflix.
  2. Click on the “Account” tab on the left-hand side of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and click on the “Device Management” link under “Netflix Services.”
  4. In this section, you’ll find a list of all of your connected devices. If you don’t see any devices listed, please check again later when you have more time.
  5. Click on one of the devices in the list and click on the “Verify Device” button next to it.
  6. A confirmation message will appear asking for your personal information such as your name, email address, and password. Please enter them all into the fields below and click on the “Verify Device” button again. If everything goes according to plan, you’ll then be able to watch your movies and TV shows without any issues!
